TS-Optics tuning rings are a real problem solver

They allow for fine adjustment of the distance with significantly greater precision than M48 extension tubes. In addition, they are generally more stable than variable extension tubes.

Unlike plastic tuning rings, TS metal rings always ensure a clean fit. The rings can also be removed at any time, even at low temperatures.

Uses for tuning rings:

Optimal adjustment of the distance between the camera and the corrector

Fine tuning of extremely short distances of only a few millimeters, where extension tubes are too long due to their design

External threads that are too long can be bridged so that they no longer cause any problems (for example, with the TS filter drawer, the external threads would block the drawer

Especially fine threads can often block each other, they get stuck and you can no longer separate the adapters. This is often due to poorly manufactured final threads. The tuning ring excludes these threads, making the contact surface cleaner.
