PlaneWave CDK17 - 17" f/6.8 Astrograph

PlaneWave´s CDK astrographs are new, revolutionary telescopes specifically designed to provide diffraction-limited imaging with large-format CCD cameras in an absolutely flat field of view. The abbreviation CDK stands for the optical system of the PlaneWave astrographs - a Dall-Kirkham-Cassegrain with an optical correction unit.

The PlaneWave CDK 17 is a corrected 0.43 m (17") f/6.8 Dall-Kirkham astrograph. The CDK17 provides a 70 mm field of view without any field curvature, coma or astigmatism. The intrument has a weight of 48 kg and comes standard with a connection ring on the back to accept focusers of your choice.
