The waterproof accessory case is ideal for sensitive optics and accessories, protecting them from moisture, dust, and shocks.
The hard case from Geoptik is suitable for the transport and storage of sensitive parts like optics, telephoto lenses, spotting scopes or compact telescopes and astronomical accessories. The cases are manufactured in Italy.

The Elephant cases are built to withstand the harshest conditions and provide optimum protection for the interior. Even extreme temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C do not deform the case. The cases are waterproof and dustproof, so that sensitive accessories can be taken along optimally on air travel, safaris or simply on an astro-session.

The cubed foam can be easily adapted to the equipment. So nothing wobbles and everything has its order.

Storage of astronomy cameras

Humidity can quickly end a good series of exposures. Especially with cooled cameras, moisture can cause the protective glass on the sensor to ice over. But also correctors and filters are affected by dew. A good storage is the most gentle prevention against dew. During storage, the silica gel in the airtight case "sucks" the moisture of the night out of the camera and the filters. At the same time, the case prevents the moist room air from penetrating. The dry storage improves the longevity of the cameras, filters, correctors, but of course also eyepieces, and the parts are always ready in optimal condition.
