TS-Optics Spider with Collimation Option for 6" Newtonian Telescopes
A robust spider ensures high adjustment stability. The TSSPD not only provides safe support for your Newtonian secondary mirror, but also allows its collimation. For this purpose, 3x M4 female threads are available.

The stainless steel spider vanes are only 0.5 mm thick. This reduces annoying diffraction phenomena around bright stars to a minimum and improves contrast.

This secondary mount is ideal for do-it-yourself, but it can also be used with commercially available Newtonian telescopes, for example from Skywatcher, GSO, Celestron, etc. We also have suitable secondary mirror holders in our product range (see accessory recommendations).
Diameter of the spider:175-184 mm
Height of the circular blank and the four arms:20 mm
Internal threads for collimation:3x M4 internal threads
Diameter of the central hole:5.5 mm
Material:stainless steel, matt black colored

"The spider for my 6"" telescope is well-designed and sturdy, offering excellent support for the secondary mirror. Its slim vanes reduce diffraction spikes effectively while maintaining strong alignment. Installation was straightforward, and collimation holds well during use. Overall, it's a high-quality component that improves both stability and optical performance."
