TS Threaded Socket with male 3/8" Thread and female 1/4" Thread
This photo thread adapter can be screwed into a 3/8" female thread or on a 1/4" male thread in order to change its size for adaptations:A 3/8" female photo thread is reduced to a 1/4" female photo thread.
A 1/4" male photo thread is expanded to a 3/8" male photo thread.
Usage
The thread adapter fits into the 3/8" female thread (large photo thread) of ball or tilt heads and reduces this female thread to 1/4". This allows you to use the heads on smaller tripods, for example.The thread adapter can also be screwed onto a 1/4" photo thread (small photo thread). This allows you to use for example tilt heads with 1/4" thread for accessories with 3/8" female thread, including various medium format cameras.
