Upgrade your Skywatcher Newtonian with a carbon tube to increase rigidity and reduce weight. For all owners of Skywatcher Newtonian telescopes we offer this very special service. You can continue to use all parts of your Skywatcher Newtonian. All necessary holes and drillings are available, but those for the focuser base are only present if we know which base or focuser is to be used .

The advantages of the TS Carbon Upgrade:

All holes are already present in the carbon tube. You can continue to use all the components of your Newton, from the focuser to the tube rings and, of course, the primary mirror cell. You do not need to drill any new holes.

You get exactly the same focus position as with your Newtonian, so you don´t need to change or even buy new accessories.

The weight of your telescope is reduced considerably, at the same time the stiffness is increased. Twisting, e.g. at the focuser, is a thing of the past.

The focus position is held much better because carbon has a more favourable expansion value than metal. This means that you need to refocus less often during long exposures. Shots will be sharper.

If you would also like holes for attaching a focuser base, we also need the corresponding information. If you do not specify the focuser or base used, you will receive the tube without suitable mounting holes!
