Teflon pad 10x20 cm - 8 mm thick
Teflon has a very smooth surface and thus enables very good sliding properties and low frictional resistance. Especially in combination with EBONY, Teflon is often used as a sliding bearing for Dobsonians. Teflon also offers good sliding properties in combination with metal. The Teflon with 8 mm is used for extra strong bearings, for example when screws are also to be countersunk.You can easily work the Teflon piece with a small saw.
