Orion main mirror cell for 300mm diameter mirror
Fits a tube inner diameter of 323mm.The main mirror cell is made for Newtonian main mirrors from Orion UK. Of course you can also use the cell for mirrors of other manufacturers with the same diameter.
Nine Point Bearing
The computer-optimised 9 point bearing ensures a distortion-free support and mounting of the mirror.
Particularly easy adjustment
No tools are needed to adjust the main mirror. Adjustment and locking screws have easy-to-use knurled heads.
Fixing to the tube
Another advantage of the main mirror cells is that they are fixed to the tube at a total of six points, not just three. This increases the rigidity of the entire construction.
The optional fan
The main mirror cell can be equipped with a fan. This speeds up the cooling of the main mirror. The relatively closed construction of the cell allows the fan to work effectively.
