Astrozap light shield for 8" Newtonian and Dobsonian telescopes
Reduces stray light influence and increases contrast.

The Astrozap light shields are a good alternative to full dew shields, especially if the stray light comes mostly from one direction. The light shields only minimally increase the wind-attack area and thus do not produce shivering in gusts of wind, as is the case with full dew shields. The light shields are made of high-quality plastic. The inside is made of black felt. They are attached with a sturdy and non-slip Velcro strap.
