The best portable solution to detect clouds and determine various temperatures, air pressure, sky brightness, relative humidity as well as dew point.

Take the pocket CW2 with you to your favorite dark observing site and sleep relaxed during automatic imaging while it monitors the sky as well as the ambient conditions and wakes you up in case of problems. But you can also sleep during poor conditions and the pocket CW2 will wake you up as soon as observations should be worthwhile.

Measures environmental conditions including sky brightness.

Alarms configurable for each of the readings, plus battery level and data age (watchdog function)

GPS receiver

Can be powered by an internal battery (optional) or by USB-C cable

Data transfer via USB-C or WLAN - any device in the vicinity can read it!

Watchdog alerts when data is not updated.

All data is displayed on your PC (Windows, Ubuntu/Debian-Linux), Android or iPhone smartphone and all alarms are output there as well

"After converting my observatory - www.himmelwarte.ch - into a fully automatic unit for sun, moon, planets and deep sky photography, I needed a simple and reliable cloud, temperature and humidity sensor. It doesn´t bother me that the product isn´t waterproof because it shouldn´t be used as a rain sensor.
