Altair Telescope Handle - aluminium clear anodized, for Altair LDB/VDB-180

The Altair Telescope handle lets you mount your telescope quickly and easily with one hand, while tightening up the clamps with the other. This is the safest way to mount a telescope. The handle is CNC machined out of a solid piece of aluminium, with scalloped grip and the Altair Astro logo engraved on the side. Each end has a recessed socket into which you insert a stainless steel hex screws, which continue through the handle, into the telescope tube ring centre hole. The handle is designed to fit above the Altair TMS 180 mm Losmandy-format or Vixen-format bars and plates, with the exact corresponding hole spacing. This forms a great mounting system for your telescope.

Each piece is given a partial polish after machining and then clear anodised for for a great finish. They are incredibly light in weight, while still providing a firm, positive grip.
