Lacerta Motorfocus Adapter for connecting the TS RPA 25 Focuser to MotorFocusLA
This adapter set is used to mount the Lacerta motor focuser to the rack & pinion focusers TSRPA25, Photoline and similar focusers. Independent of the OAZ manufacturer, color, draw tube diameter, etc. - decisive is the focus shaft housing (please compare exactly with the video, it must have the 3 grub screws next to each other!).The Lacerta Motofocus is usually attached instead of the simple focus wheel, the dual speed side remains. Note: Do not use manual focus with the motor attached, the mechanics may suffer..
In some versions, however, the entire dual speed unit must be removed and the adapter inserted there. Please try which case applies to you.
The focuser´s focus shaft housing must be about 21 mm inside diameter at the focus knob, and the focus shaft itself 6 mm outside diameter.
Video instructions for mounting to TS RPA25 (newer version, with 3 side-by-side grub screws on the dual speed side) and compatible focusers:
