Newtonian Base for Orion Crayford Focuser ACU-3S

The base allows the exact mounting of this focuser to Newtonians with tubes with 300 mm to 354 mm outer diameter. The edges provide full bearing and avoid tilting or warping even when heavy cameras are used.

The base is attached to the tube with four M4 screws (not included). The holes for the screws have a distance of 100 mm respectively.

The focuser ACU-3S from Orion is attached to the base by a dovetail ring. Through tightening the mounting screws, the focuser is automatically put into the optimal position, tilting cannot occour. Additionally, a 360° rotation is possible.
