JMI base for 3" EV-XTN and XTNm slides for tubes from 230mm to 300mm diameter
The base is raised to prevent the flat support surface from hitting the tube wall.With this base you can also use the focuser on Newtons with smaller tubes. For example, you can turn an 8" Newtonian into a powerful astrograph for full-frame cameras.
The base rests on the outside of the tube. It is fixed from the inside with 4x M6 screws. The threaded holes are adapted to the stronger tube curvature.
