Heated flexible dew shields protect your optics from dew and stray light.

On clear nights, dew is often a real problem with Schmidt-Cassegrain and Maksutov systems, but also with refractors. After only a few hours, the optics start fogging, making observations or photography impossible. A good dew shield reduces the risk of fogging and extends the observing time.

Due to the built-in heating, dew formation is then practically completely prevented. As a connection serves an RCA plug, which fits into common controllers. The power can thus be adjusted so that there is neither air turbulence (telescope seeing) nor unnecessary power consumption, but also no dew formation.

Furthermore, lateral stray light is kept away. Stray light, like the one from street lights, reduces contrast and often causes unwanted reflections in photographs. Dew shilds from TS Optics are really black inside. Stray light simply has no chance to enter the telescope.
