Taurus Main Mirror Fans
The mirror cooling system significantly reduces the waiting time until the optics in the telescope reach thermal equilibrium. Observations can begin after 15 to 30 minutes (depending on the size of the mirror and the temperature difference). Especially recommended for medium and large telescopes. The system also prevents the accumulation of a layer of warm air above the mirror.
