The Acuter MaksyGo 60 Mini Dobsonian is a complete fully functional telescope set with the added benefit of a removable discovery panel which reveals the fascinating internal construction of an advanced Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system to give an understanding of how it works. This compact and portable telescope is great for observing, learning & taking photos of the stars with your smartphone, to keep a record of your observations. Supplied with a Dobsonian-type alt-azimuth mount, which combines excellent stability and ease of operation.

The set includes a 60 mm diameter f=750 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, a 37.5x eyepiece (20 mm), a 75x eyepiece (10 mm), a 90° erect-image diagonal, a 6x21 erect-image finder, a smartphone adaptor (smartphone not included) and a Dobsonian mount. Supplied in an attractive colour gift box with carrying handle for easy transportation and instructions for use. The telescope can be extended as required with optionally available 1.25" standard eyepieces. This gives you even more versatile options.

The Maksutov telescope is named after Dmitri Maksutov (1896-1964), a Soviet/Russian optician and astronomer who invented this telescope design in 1941. The Acuter MaksyGo 60 is the perfect way to follow in his footsteps in your discovery of the universe!
