"I have two ES 100? eyepieces and love the wide fov. In practical terms they give a good time for observation without needing to re align. The same is true of this 5mm EP, which at high magnification was a prior concern. It seems every bit as good as the ES ep's in terms of build quality and I would need to obtain a ES 5.5mm ep if I were to comment on relative performance. Really pleased, a superb EP at a more affordable price than the ES equivalent. "
