"It looks good on top of my very stable photo tripod. But I am a bit dissapointed by the design. When the moon is low in the horizon it is not possible to look at it using the Orion Paragon Plus Binomount because it is designed to point more upwards and there is a metal stop, so you cannot look lower than approximately 10-13 degrees. When the moon is low I have to tip the hole tripod and mount and this totally destroys the purpose of buying the mount! The mount is made of Iron and to the heavy side. I would have preferred aluminium. All in all I am not impressed by the design and amazed that the designers dit not make the design better."

"Bin begeistert. Im Gegensatz zur Freihändigen Beobachtung, eine hundertprozentige Verbesserung. Die Montierung ist hochwertig und holt das Optimum aus meinen Ferngläsern raus ( 15x70 und 8x56 ) "
