Take impressive panoramas with your DSLR camera

The included multifunctional L-mount accommodates almost all cameras with its 1/4" photo thread; both horizontally and vertically oriented. The camera can be connected to the mount with a remote control cable (a cable for Canon models is included). The desired parameters are then entered into the handbox and one of three modes is selected: Simple Pano, Preset Pano, Time Lapse. Even full 360° panoramas are no problem, including in perpendicular direction from zenith to nadir!

Video Tracking and Time Lapse

In Video Tracking mode, up to 10 hours of video can be recorded between two preset points. The panning speed is automatically based on the time the user presets between the two end points.
In time-lapse mode, the user can preset a start and end point as well as a panning time, which can be up to 10 hours. A maximum of 65535 shots can then be triggered in this mode. With software (not included), these images can then be processed into impressive videos!

Motorised mount for daytime observations

In the simplest case, the mount can be used as a simple motorised platform for your observation / photo / video equipment. The movement is then simply analogous to the operation of the direction buttons on the handbox.

Computer-controlled GoTo mount

Telescopes up to approx. 4 kg in weight can be mounted either with a 45mm dovetail or the L-bracket. Longer systems can also be mounted on the outside of the arm; this makes panning up to the zenith no problem. The standard SynScan control has a database of more than 42900 celestial objects that can be automatically approached and tracked after a short setup. Thanks to the internal encoders, the telescope can also be slewed by hand during operation without losing the astronomical alignment!
