Each Netwtonian reflector telescope shows an upside-down image with sides mirrored. So it is not comfortable to use the telescope for daytime viewing. In opposite to many other telescopes, an Amici prism for reversing the image cannot be used. The Omegon erecting lens solves this and you have a correct image orientation in your telescope.

The erecting lens also works great with nearly any other type of telescope, like Schmidt-Cassegrain and refractor. The erecting lens replaces the 1.25" diagonal and offers also in the straight view mode a correctly orientated image - up is up, left is left.
