PrimaLuceLab 85 mm PLUS support rings

These rings allow you to install accessories above and below the optical tube, for example PLUS dovetail bars or even guide scope rings. Like all the other elements of the PLUS series, these rings are made with high mechanical precision (manufactured with CNC machines from an aluminum block) and especially designed to enable you to easily install other mechanical elements such as dovetail bars, guide scope rings or dovetail clamps.

The 85 mm PLUS support rings are part of the Prima Luce Universal System (PLUS), which includes a large variety of support rings, dovetail bars, guide scope rings and dovetail clamps. It offers you the maximum freedom to construct your telescope equipment system, depending on the application that you want to use it for.

Mounting options and features:

All PLUS components have both threaded and unthreaded holes, as well as slots suitable for connecting them, always with maximum rigidity and comfort. Each part of the PLUS system is made of aluminium blocks that are carefully CNC-crafted. The aluminium is then sandblasted to achieve a very smooth finish and finally hard-anodized to increase the hardness of the material and protect it from oxidation.

Thanks to the special design, the 85 mm PLUS support rings are equipped with holes on both sides to allow the attachment of:

Vixen or Losmandy dovetail bars below the rings to install the telescope on any mount

PLUS guide scope rings (each ring can be fixed on the support ring with 2 screws)

Vixen or Losmandy dovetail bars above the rings to increase the rigidity of the mechanical system and to enable the installation of other accessories, such as dovetail clamps with guide scope rings to precisely adjust the position of the guide scope.
