Losmandy EX4 100 mm 4" Tripod Extension for LW and HD tripods
The Losmandy tripod extension fits G-11, G-9 and GM-8 mounts. It mounts between the tripod legs and the equatorial head to add 4" of height to the telescope. The diameter of the extension is 6".The extension makes sense if you use longer telescopes. It helps keeping the tail piece of long optical tubes away from hitting the tripod legs in certain observing positions or when you go through the meridian.
If the height is not sufficient, the extensions with the item numbers LOEX4, LOEX8 and LOEX12 can be combined.
