The TS 12 V Power set is a true alternative to the low-cost "powertanks" with their reduced life-span. The heart is a lead-gel battery (12V / 9Ah) with deep cycle capability, able to suppy moderate current for long time, as common in amateur astronomy. Starter batteries, often (mis)used for this job, lose their capacity within short time, as well as low-quality batteries which are often used in powertanks.

12 Ah, for example, allow the operation of a big GoTo mount over 2 nights or the reliable supply of a cooled astro camera or even the supply of a laptop if you have the appropriate adapter cable.

Everything has its place - complete content:

The TS Powerset contains all you need: A powerful rechargeable battery, a 230 V wall charger and an adapter with coaxial power connector. Everything is stored in a flexible but robust nylon shoulder bag. The bag can be kept closed in use - to the content is protected against humidity.

The components:

Sealed lead gel battery, 12 V, 9 Ah, rechargeable - can be used in any position, long life if stored fully charged, self-discharge less than 0.14% per day, deep-cycle capable, protected against deep discharge and overcharging. With only 2.65 kg, it is not too heavy.

230 V wall adapter for lead-gel batteries - 600 mA - With this useful charger, you can charge your battery unattended. When full, the charger automatically switches to maintenance charge.

12 V cable - insulated blade receptacles, with cigarette lighter receptacle

Useful and weather proof shoulder bag - Versatile and robust. It offers place for additional accessories and even a second battery if needed. A separate fold for small items is attached on its outer side. You can easily carry the bag with the shoulder strap, thus the hands are kept free.

Important note about polarity:

At the battery: red = plus - black = minus

At the cigarette lighter receptacle: if the cable is correctly connected (+/-), you have plus at the centre and minus at the outside - that is the standard.
