Vixen Polar Finder Pf-L II Set for Polarie U Mount

You need this Vixen polar finder set for the POLARIE U Star Tracker to be able to align the POLARIE U exactly to the celestial pole

. This is very important at longer focal lengths and exposure times to obtain pinpoint star images. The polar finder allows polar alignment with an accuracy of 3 arc minutes.

Polar alignment is very simple: All you have to do is bring Polaris and two other stars into the field of view of the polar finder and rotate with the stars congruent to the scales mapped in the polar finder. So you don´t need to set any longitude correction, time and date anymore. The polar finder PF-L II has a red, dimmable illumination, which switches off automatically after a few minutes to save the batteries.
