This polar finder is designed for the CGX, CGX-L mounts and all telescopes which are equipped with these mounts, it allows for a quick and easy polar alignment.

The reticle displays the asterism Big Dipper and the constellation of Cassiopeia for the northern hemisphere and the constellation of Octans for the southern hemisphere. That is sufficient for the exact alignment of the mount. No additional app is necessary.

The polar axis finder can be tool-free attached to the mount within seconds and is then automatically in the right position. You can even pivot the polar finder for getting the most comfortable viewing position. Aligning the mount also needs only a few minutes, and then the polar finder can be removed again. Now you can start with observation or astrophotography.
