Geoptik X-Y Tangential Head and dual-speed Geared Head

The GK-5 from Geoptik allows micro adjustment in both axes, so you can align a finder, a guide scope or a camera lens perfectly parallel to the main instrument or center any object, like a guide star, perfectly. When the object is in position, fix the axes with the clamping levers and the GK-5 behaves like being one piece.

The special advantage - 90° rotated mounting:

The second instrument is mounted 90° shifted, so the base rail can be significantly shorter. You can mount the GK-5 directly adjacent to the main instrument. The tube diameter of the second instrument is no longer of relevance. Everything becomes more compact and the lever ratios become more advantageous. The risk of bending decreases, too.

Flexible adaptions at both sides:

The GK-5 has female M6 threads in various distances

You can attach saddle plates to both sides or screw the GK-5 directly to dovetail bars.

The flat support surfaces allow trouble-free adaptions to any support surfaces.
