This dovetail bar is also suitable for heavier telescopes, where simple profile bars already start to vibrate. Due to the smooth side profile you can easily balance the telescope by sliding it.

Ideal accessories for photo tripods:

The 1/4" and 3/8" tripod thread in the center of the bar allows you to easily attach the bar to your photo tripod, ball head or tilt head. This allows you to quickly and easily adapt your telescope to the tripod for observations, provided the tripod is stable enough.


With the TSPKM dovetail clamp you can build a double mount or parallel mount for astrophotography.

Not only does the dovetail bar go well with our Deluxe Dovetail Clamp, the rigidity of the connection is hard to beat.
You can simply attach the TSPKM to the side of the dovetail bar and fasten it with the 1/4" allen screw. You can find both items in our recommended accessories section.

Now you can mount your camera on one side and the guiding telescope on the other side and align everything parallel.
