LandScout 20-60x65 mm with Smartphone Adapter
With a compact, lightweight design, LandScout scopes can accompany you on any trip. They are also interesting devices for sport shooters. The LandScout are quick to set up and very flexible with the zoom eyepiece. Although they are inexpensive entry-level scopes, they still deliver bright, sharp images. This also makes them nice secondary units if you don´t want to carry larger, heavier optics.
Digiscoping is easy with the Celestron Smartphone Adapter
Share your best discoveries with friends and family by connecting the LandScout spotting scope to the included smartphone adapter. This accessory connects any smartphone to the LandScout eyepiece (or any other eyepiece with an outer diameter of 45 mm or less, such as a binocular or telescope eyepiece).
The eyepiece´s magnification increases the scale of the image, allowing you to capture stunning images of wildlife, distant objects, and even the moon at night! This lightweight, sturdy smartphone adapter installs in seconds by clipping onto the top of the eyepiece. The locking knobs hold your phone securely in place. Note that some large and/or overly bulky phone cases (including folio cases) may need to be removed in order for the phone to fit into the adapter.
A proven spotting scope
The LandScout 65mm spotting scope features a 45° field of view, excellent multi-coated optics, and a versatile 20-60x zoom eyepiece. The 45° field of view provides comfort for extended observations. LandScout´s fully coated optics increase light transmission for brighter, sharper images. Adjustable zoom lets you choose between a wide field of view for general observations and high magnification for detailed, close-up observations. The LandScout 20-60x65mm is perfect for those who don´t want to carry a larger, heavier telescope. Its rugged and portable design makes it easy to take anywhere.
Perfect for a variety of uses
The LandScout comes with a 20-60x zoom eyepiece. Use the lower magnifications to survey the landscape, and quickly switch to higher magnifications for small objectives when needed. The large, ergonomic focus knob ensures you always have your subject in clear, sharp focus. Both the zoom and focus knobs are rubberized, making them easy to operate even when wearing gloves. The LandScout is designed to perform well in many observing situations, making it an excellent all-around optical instrument.
Opportunities for Observation
The LandScout has a rugged, durable construction that can withstand minor bumps and shocks. The spotting scope is also waterproof, so you can use it in damp or wet conditions with ease. For comfortable observations over long periods of time or long distances, you can mount the LandScout on the tabletop tripod. The tripod mount is rotatable, so you can easily find the most comfortable view for you.
