Baader Travel case for Fluorite Flatfield Converter (FFC) / 3x-8x

Valuable accessories deserve good protection when they are transported or stored. With this case, your Baader FFC Fluorite Flatfield Converter is always optimally protected.

The hard foam insert has cutouts so that you can pack the FFC - Fluorite Flatfield Converter ready for use together with all parts also included in the All-in-One T2 Set in a perfectly fitting way. This protects it against shocks and other external influences. Instead of cheap plastic in aluminum look, you receive a waterproof, airtight, and dustproof case made of ultra high-impact ABS plastic. An automatic air pressure equalization valve provides pressure equalization if necessary, so that despite the watertightness you can always open the case easily even under negative pressure. Even after air travel, when you visit an observing site on a high mountain, or in the event of large temperature differences, you can always access the contents without any problem.

The large handle allows the case to be carried securely even with gloves. The two large quick-release latches can also be operated with gloves. At the same time, they are recessed so that the case cannot open accidentally. The ribs on the housing not only protect the handles, but also stabilize the case so that it does not warp.

In addition to the cutout for the actual FFC, the case also has space for all parts of the "FFC All-in-One T2 Set - 3-4x magnification for 1.25" and T2 cameras". The cutouts also fit your own adapter combinations, so that it is ready for use in the shortest possible time.

The case also protects the CaF₂lenses of the FFC against temperature shock - if you transport it in the case and leave it inside so that it can adapt slowly in the event of large temperature differences, the FFC is optimally protected.

External dimensions of the case: 455 mm x 300 mm x 170 mm

The Baader FFC case is temperature-stable from -40 °C to +80 °C and has been included in the scope of delivery of the "FFC - Fluorite Flatfield Converter (3x-8x Barlow Lens)" and the "FFC All-in-One T2 Set - 3-4x magnification for 1.25" and T2 cameras" since April 2026.
