Avalon EVO-quattro Goto observatory mount from Italy

The EVO-quattro is the ultimate mount for your own observatory if you want to mount heavy telescopes with high accuracy, for example for astrophotography. The mount supports telescopes up to 250 kg weight. With a suitable dual mount, for example, two telescopes can be mounted parallel to each other.

The StarGo2 control system allows stand-alone, but also computer-assisted operation. The EVO-quattro is therefore also an interesting mount for remote operation.

No maintenance, no backlash

Entirely made in anodized aluminium machined with high precision CNC machines, the internal Belt Drive System composed by special polymer fiberglass pulleys and high precision timing belts allow a tracking without sudden spikes, without backlash allowing at the same time a long lasting product, without requiring maintenance.

High resolution absolute encoders on both axes

With the high resolution absolute encoders on both RA/DEC axis, is possible to have accurate pointing and keep the mount orientation also after a shutdown.

StarGo2 Pro Controller

The mount is controlled by the StarGo2 Pro, a real All in one astrophotografic setup management system for Mount, CCD cameras, Focuser and comes with the following features:
