Astroprints Fine Focusing Upgrade for Celestron 6" Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes
The standard focusing mechanism on 6" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrains is relatively stiff and imprecise. Especially when trying to find the optimal focus, it usually turns out to be too inaccurate, making the optimal focus position with eyepieces, or in astrophotography with the camera, a test of patience. This often results in using a lower magnification eyepiece, which means that the potential of the telescope is not fully exploited due to the inaccurate focusing.This upgrade makes focusing a very simple and relaxed task. Simply attach the adapter over the standard focus knob on your Celestron 6" Schmidt-Cassegrain and use it to find the maximum magnification and optimal focus with much greater precision.
