TS Photoline 2.5" Corrector and Reducer for Astrophotography
The corrector is designed for the TS Photoline 115 mm f/7 Triplet Apo and gives optimal results with this telescope. The stars are imaged pinpoint up to the edge, even with full frame sensors.The corrector is simply screwed into the M68x1 connection thread of the focuser using the M68a-M63i adapter (linked). Nothing is pushed in, so tilting is impossible.
The working distance from the M48 thread to the camera sensor
The working distance is exactly 55 mm, so the connection of an astro camera, for example from ZWO, is no problem, because with the cooled cameras the 55 mm adapters are always included. "? How do you use the product? I use it as a reducer and field corrector for my TS-Optics Photoline ***ED in astrophotography. It improves field flatness and reduces the focal length to 640 mm (f/5.6), making exposures faster and increasing the system's light-gathering capability. ? Who would you recommend this product to? I would recommend it to anyone who owns the Photoline 115 mm f/7 and wants to improve image quality with larger sensors. The corrector is ideal for deep-sky imaging and works great with APS-C and smaller sensors. ? What do you think about the quality of the product? The build quality is excellent, the optics are high quality, and the mechanical design is precise. The threads are smooth, and it connects seamlessly with adapters. Field flatness is outstanding, with stars remaining sharp even at the corners of my QHY163C sensor. Ensuring the correct 55 mm backfocus is crucial for the best results. Overall, this refractor corrector is an excellent choice if you want to get the most out of your Photoline 115/800 for astrophotography. "
