APM-Riccardi Universal Apo Flattener 1.0x - Model 2

The new universal flattener for apos was designed by the famous optics designer Massimo Riccardi. This flattener "smoothes" the optical problems in the field like coma and astigmatism and results in an image similarly perfect to the one on the optical axis.

The flattener model 1 is particularly designed for longer focal lengths and larger apochromats and represents the limit of what´s currently feasible. We recommend the flattener for APO refractors from 1000 mm focal length.
