The focal reducer shortens the focal length of the flatfield apo from 490 mm to 367 mm. The field correction is maintained. The exposure times are reduced to about 56 %. The shortening factor increases the field of view and the apo becomes even more exciting for the wide field range. Especially when working with smaller sensors, the 0.75x reducer offers a real alternative to an additional telescope or camera lens.
