Antlia 1.25? Iris Diaphragm for Solar Discover Calcium Filters
When using the Solar Discover 5Å CaK filters, the Antlia 1.25? variable aperture diaphragm helps to filter out stray light and improve image contrast. It can be adjusted in real time and achieves optimum contrast at approximately half aperture (D=12, see second image above) or can be fine-tuned for specific conditions as required.
