TS Counter ring with M48x0.75 male thread
The counter ring, only 2 mm thick, can be used in many ways, it is a real problem solver.
Shortening an M48 female thread:

If an M48 female thread is too long then the adapter is simply screwed into the thread. It then shortens the thread by at least 2 mm.
