TS Optics Focal Adapter

The TSV137-T2 is primarily made for photographical applications requiring an adaptation from 1.25" to T2. SLR cameras can be attached using common T2 rings (see recommended accessories).

Filter Thread for 1.25" filters:
You can screw 1.25" filters or other parts using the 1.25" filter thread (M28.5x0.6) into the FA 1 adaptor. This allows you to use nebular filters or city-light reduction filters for imaging.

Areas of application

astrophotography with refractor telescopes

straight-view observing with refractors (extension is necessary because the instruments are always designed for use with zenith prisms).

observation with Newtons with long back focus (most Newtons are already designed for photography, so an extension is often necessary for observation)
