TS Adapter for recessed adaptation of the N-AGK3 coma corrector in the UNCN3M82 focuser

The TS V-Power focuser with the M82 threaded connection on the camera side accepts large correctors up to 3" housing diameter. This adapter allows the corrector to be screwed to the focuser. The corrector is recessed in the focuser tube, saving valuable optical path. A tilting, as it is possible with a clamp, is excluded by the screw connection.

On the camera side, the adapter has an M68x1 male thread for further adaptations. The working distance from the M68x1 thread is 67 mm (the M68 thread is not included).

How to use the adapter and what to consider:

Screw the N-AGK3 into the M73.5 male thread of the adapter. To do this, they must unscrew the thread adapter to the 3.4" thread. Be sure to mount the corrector the right way around.

Then screw the adapter with the corrector into the M82x1 female thread of the focuser.

Please take into account that the adapter requires 6.4 mm optical path - this must be subtracted from the working distance of the corrector (73.4 mm).
