APM Coma Correcting 2.7x Barlow Lens
1.25" Filter ThreadBarlow lens with real ED glass, calculated to correct coma in Newtonian telescopes. This Barlow lens allows you to observe planets as well as deep sky objects at the edge of the 1.25" eyepiece field with similar quality as on-axis.
The photographically comacorrected field is designed for the APS-C format. However, due to its unique quality, this APO Barlow lens also provides very good imaging quality on refractors, SCs, etc. The ED element is made of ED glass FK61 (comparable to Ohara FPL51), it is cemented and provided with a broadband multicoating on both sides, which has a transmission of more than 99% in the spectral range from 400 nm to 700 nm.
The optimum working distance is 105 mm from the center of the last lens. The focal length is - 62.9 mm. The free aperture is 22 mm.
Despite its "only" 22 mm free aperture in the secondary focus, this Barlow lens offers a 100% illuminated field up to APS-C format when operated with 105 mm working distance.
