Super Plossl eyepieces from TS Optics: 4mm Focal Length

The Plossl eyepiece design has set a new standard for quality and has been in use for decades. Its popularity is due to the good performance at an unusually low price. TS Optics Super Plossls are state of the art Plossl eyepieces with outstanding optical quality. They are particularly well suited for observing planets and the moon. Their image sharpness and their high transmission makes them ideal eyepieces for many applications.

The TS Super Plössl 4mm ... A maximum magnification eyepiece, particularly suitable for observing the planets. With its excellent image sharpness and transmission the eyepiece will render tack-sharp and bright images of our planets in most telescopes. The eye relief is narrow, however this is not a problem when viewing the planets which even at this high magnification only fill a part of the field of view.

Quality Features of the TS Optics Super Plössl eypieces:

High Grade Multi-Coating	A special high grade multicoating on all glass-to-air surfaces provides for excellent light transmission, image clarity and colour fidelity. For further information on this FMC coating please see "user reports"!
Blackened lens edges	for suppression of stray light inside the eyepiece. This is particularly important when viewing bright objects
Rubber eyeguard	for better viewing comfort. The eyeguard also keeps stray light from the side out of your eyes.
Excellent value for money	The TS Optics Super Plossls offer a superb optical performance at a low budget. This makes them particularly suitable for beginners and also for demanding planetary observing.

A special feature: TS Super Plossl as projection eyepiece for photography

TS Super Plössls are very well suited for eyepiece projection photography. Plossls offer a large undistorted field. They can be used with most standard eyepiece projection adaptors, or if you have only a limited amount of back focus (especially on Newtonian telescopes) you can use the Fotoring T2 for the camera adaptation.
