TS Optics flexible Dust Cover for Newtonian telescopes and Dobsonians
Good dust protection is very important for a telescope. Otherwise the optics will get quickly dusty, especially if stored for a longer time. Just as important is good airflow. If there is residual moisture in the tube, it has to be able to leave the telescope.

The flexible dust covers from TS Optics offer optimal protection against dust and allows air circulation at the same time, as the fabric is breathable. Furthermore, the cover is very flexible, it can be used with telescope tubes from 260 mm to 350 mm.

Light shield for the back side of the Newtonian telescope: Another field of application for the TS dust cover is at the rear side of the telescope. Many Newtonian telescopes and Dobsonians are open at the back side. This allows for free ventilation. However, stray light can also enter from behind, which is annoying especially in astrophotography. The black dust cover prevents this. The air can still freely circulate, there is no accumulation of heat.

"Ich habe den Staubschutz gekauft, um ihn als Lichtschutz zu verwenden, da bei meinem Newton sehr viel Licht von der Hauptspiegelseite aus eintreten kann - das Teleskop ist da praktisch offen, und ich habe mit Stadtlicht zu kämpfen. Der Schutz hilft deutlich, reicht aber allein noch nicht aus, um bei Langzeitbelichtungen (200 Sekunden und mehr) keinen Lichteinfall mehr zu sehen. Mit einer zusätzlichen schwarzen Stoffschicht ist jetzt alles hinreichend dicht."
