GIRO ERCOLE MINI - High-performance Mount and Pan/Tilt Head - made in Germany

The altazimuth mount is a real alternative to tilt heads. With about 1,5 kg, it not significantly heavier than a standard head - but carries incomparably more.

Without weight compensation, the Giro Ercole supports instruments up to 5 kg PER AXIS! Therefore, you can attach something like binoculars or a spotting scope on one side and a powerful telephoto lens on the other.

At the same time, the mount is so small that it almost fits into the open palm of your hand. It has room in every luggage.

Features and upgrading possibilities of the Giro Ercole Mini:

Connection at the base - female M10 thread. The moutn fits perfectly to Berlebach tripods, but can also be attached to a photo tripod with 3/8" connector.

The mount offers two plane seatings with two female M6 threads each (distance 35 mm). We recommend saddle plates for the easy and comfortable quick-coupling of telescopes.

No M6 screws are supplied. For TSPKM, you need M6x16 cylinder head screws with washer, for PrismenklemmeS and similarities, you need M6x16 countersunk head screws.

When using especially heavy instruments (5 kg bis 9 kg), a counterweight shaft can be attached to the other side. Suitable are common counterweights with a central bore of 20 mm.

The GIRO-Ercole Mini is manufactured out of high-tensile aluminium alloy with state-of-the-art CNC machines - a German quality product!

The radial/axial bearing is completely free of lubricants. Inside of the mount, high-quality plain bearings are used. The mount does not bounce, it stays exactly where you want it to stay. You can precisely track even slow motions (stars, animals) at high magnifications.

Motion resistance is set by non-slip screws. These screws also allow full clamping of the axes.
