TS 12 V Cable with Cigarette Lighter Plug and Inverse Polarity Protection

This cable allows connecting your mount or CCD camera ... to powertanks or sealed lead-acid batteries with the cigarette lighter receptacle. The reverse polarity protection protects your accessories reliably against damage caused by accidental voltage reversal.

The red color stands out and thus prevents the cable from becoming a tripping hazard.

The coaxial power connector plug fits, among others, to:

Skywatcher and Celestron mount with matching coaxial power connector receptacles (not AZ-EQ6 and similar ones)

Atik cameras, ZWO cameras, ...

Caution, the plug must not be connected to Vixen mounts, as Vixen uses a different polarity!

Important: the controllers of many Skywatcher mounts (EQ1, EQ2, NEQ3, EQ3-2, EQ5) need a voltage of 6 V, connecting them to 12 V will destroy the electronics. From model making and electronics traders, 6 V VRLA batteries (sealed lead-acid batteries) are available. Their voltage has dropped to a safe value just a short time after charging, so they can be used.
