The T2 and 1.25" Baader Star Diagonal Prism
The Baader T2 diagonal prism is a very good alternative to the simple diagonal mirrors or prisms on the market. The Baader prism offers, besides a very good optical quality, some interesting applications, for example:
A very good addition to telescopes with quite coarse focusing, like Maksutov telephoto lenses, Schmidt-Cassegrains, EHD, etc. Fine focusing on the 1.25" receptacle enables very accurate focusing, especially at high magnifications.
The prism is ideal for lunar and planetary photography with astro cameras. Here, too, the fine focus enables more precise focusing and thus sharper photos.
The prism has a T2 connection on both sides (inside/outside). You can unscrew the 1.25" adapters. This allows you to adapt various T2 accessories such as 2" adapters, T2 photo rings and much more to the prism.
