TS Adapter from 2" Receptacle to the male SC Thread - SC Connection

The adapter allows connecting SC accessories to 2", like focal reducers or off-axis guiders. If, for example, a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope was retrofitted with a 2" focuser, you need exactly this adapter if you want to use SC accessories further on.

The adapter has a filter thread for 2" filter, so you can use, for example, nebular filters or color filters for enhancing contrast.

Application tip from Teleskop-Service:

At many accessories with an SC retaining ring, like the visual 1.25" adapter, the female SC thread is longer than the 5 mm long male thread of this adapter. For this reason the ring rotates unengaged, it does not lock.

The distance ring (SCSpacer), made of metal, solves the problem. It is linked in the accessories section. For normally connected parts, like the f/6.3 reducer and field corrector, you don´t need the distance ring.
