Baader 1,25" Q-Barlow 2.25x / 1.3x and photo converter
The high-quality 2,25x Barlow from Baader achieves, due to two special glas elements, a very good correction at the center and across the whole field. Its can be used both for observation, but also for moon and planet photography and videography.

The can be installed as a whole unit inbetween the eyepiece or camera and the focuser. This gives you a 1,25" draw tube on both sides (männlich / weiblich). The extension factor goes up to 2.25x.

But you can also unscrew the Barlow lens from the Barlow and then connect the lens element to an eyepiece. This reduces the factor to 1.3x. With an eyepiece and the Q-Turret Barlow you achieve three different magnification factors.

The optional Baader #BA 2458105 1,25" photo adapter transforms the Q-Turret Barlow into a powerful Photo-converter for Astrophotography of Moon and Planets with T2 connection.

Important note: When connecting the barlow element to a 1.25" sleeve, for example, do not overtighten the screw connection. Otherwise, when loosening the connection later, it may happen that not the screw connection in the socket loosens, but that of the optical elements. This can lead to irreparable damage to the Barlow lens.

"Gute Qualität, Okulargewinde muß allerdings ausreichend Abstand zur Feldlinse haben damit sich die Linse einschrauben lässt, sonst ist ein Adapter nötig!"

"The second one I purchased, stacking two together showed some (but still usable) decrease in contrast, but if only using one then there is negligible visual deterioration in image quality. This is an excellent quality product."
