Dovetail bar PS15 - universal attachment plate for short telescopes, spotting scopes, etc.
The dovetail rail fits to all astronomical mounts with GP/EQ5 style saddle plates, like:
Skywatcher: EQ3, EQ5, HEQ5, AZ-EQ5 ...
Celestron: Advanced VX, CG-4, Omni mount
Bresser / Meade: LXD55, LXD75, Exos, Mon1, Mon2 ...
iOptron SkyGuider, SmartEQ, iEQ30 ...
Vixen GP, Sphinx, SX2 ...


Furthermore, the bar also fites to photo tripods with ball heads and pan-tilt heads. The PS15 has a 1/4" photo thread in its middle. With this, the PS15 becomes an effective photographic attachment plate.

Attaching telescopes, spotting scopes or telephoto lenses to the PS15:
The dovetail bar provides several possibilites for safely connecting your instrument:
Two bores for M6 and 1/4" screws in a distance of 125 mm
Two bores for M6 and 1/4" screws in a distance of 70 mm


These inner bores can also be used for spotting scopes or telephoto lenses. The mounting screws are not protruding from the bottom side. With this, the PS15 can also be used for balancing at photo tripods if a lens is strongly top-heavy or tail-heavy.
