The PSV7 is a versatile solid dovetail bar with long bore and photo thread for compact telescopes.The rail is new, but has a slight sign of use on the slotted hole and the countersunk hole. It comes from Apos, where customers prefer a Losmandy level rail.

Suitable for attaching compact telescopes, but also spotting scopes and telephoto lenses to mounts with Vixen / EQ5 style saddle plate.

Allows connecting telescopes to photo tripods via the 1/4" photo thread in the middle

TS-Optics EQ5 / Vixen style Dovetail Bar with photo thread connector

The bar allows attaching compact telescopes, camera lenses or spotting scopes to astronomical mounts with saddle plates and also to photo tripods.

The slotted hole at one side of the bar allows for a distance of the tube rings between 107 mm und 120 mm. The two bores are designed for 1/4" and M6 hex socket head screws. The countersink is 7.5 mm deep.

The dovetail bar also fits on photo tripods and pan heads:

The bar has a 1/4" photo tread (female) exactly in the middle. Thus the bar fits to photo tripods and pan-tilt heads. You can also connect your telescope or spotting scope to a photo tripod. The dovetail allows effective balancing, for example if the spotting scope is too top-heavy.
