To achieve maximum effectiveness and ensure quick alignment of the tripod, the 4-segment legs, equipped with retractable spikes and three angles of attack, are adjusted by rubberized twist locks. The reversible center column - for close-to-the-ground macro work, with spring-loaded accessory hook - becomes a comfortable monopod when used with one of the tripod legs. A cold grip handle provides a non-slip grip in the hand for both the tripod and the monopod.

The heavy-duty all-metal B.I.G. BS-1300 ball head with quick-release plate offers an adjustable friction brake as well as panoramic rotation with scale. The head can be used with all tripods and cameras due to the 3/8 inch thread and the 1/4 inch camera screw of the interchangeable plate.
